Most writers write with the hope of being published and selling their work.
But that’s not the first hurdle.
For a lot of writers, particularly beginners, the first problem is actually finishing the story.
One of the best ways to stay motivated is to focus on what you have achieved rather than what you have not – yet.
HOW USING A WRITING TRACKER KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED
Tracking your writing sessions regularly will enable you to do this easily and motivate you to achieve more.
To help you do this I had this creative writing tracker specially designed for working writers.
FREE CREATIVE WRITING TRACKER
I am giving it away for free here.
It is like a calendar with a box for each day of the year.
All you do is print it out, hang it where you write, and tick each day you did some writing – easy!
I personally use mine to track my own writing. It boosts my creativity by reminding me of what I achieved.
If you write regularly all those writing sessions add up and it’s a real morale booster to tick them off.
It’s all about building habits and the creative writing tracker helps with that.
They say it takes three weeks to build a habit so try it.
Plan for five writing sessions per week and tick them off on the tracker.
Believe me, it really is a great feeling to see all those sessions mounting up.
So, do it now – click on the link up on the right side of this page, or below and get your free creative writing tracker.
NO SPAM ZONE
Don’t worry about being spammed I promise I never do that.
Best of luck with your writing.

INFORMATION AND EXERCISES TO GET YOU STARTED
Freeing yourself from procrastination
Hi Rosanne, thanks for your comment. I think sometimes writers look ahead at the writing not yet done! I suggest that every time a writer has a writing session they tick a box on the tracker or maybe even place a sticky star on each box. That way every time they look at the tracker they are looking at all the work done. I find seeing those ticks or stars mount up is a great way to motivate yourself to do more.
