MAGGIE MANY CATS AND THE CAT THAT FLEW IN THE WINDOW
Maggie Many Cats And The Cat That Flew In The Window lives in a house filled with musical cats.
Maggie is a fairly ordinary woman who is thoroughly enjoying her prime years.
She loves cats, chocolate and a peaceful snooze in her cosy chair.
It’s not always easy to do that – at last not when Sergeant Sid’s about.
He’s a chocolate-mad police officer who spends his time making up crimes and generally coming between the abiding citizens of Ballyyahoo and their chocolate.
Then there’s Biddy from down the road.
Biddy is a woman Maggie long suspected of being a witch.
Maggie and Biddy have enjoyed the occasional feud but mostly they do their best to avoid each other – even when that means crossing to opposite sides of a very narrow road.
One day, Maggie finds a beautiful black cat with an unusual gold stripe along her forehead. At first, Maggie thinks it’s just another lost cat.
THE EXTRAORDINARY CAT OF BALLYYAHOO
But this cat’s different, very, very different.
This cat is far from lost.
Catleesha has come to Maggie for a reason.
When Maggie sees exactly what this cat can do she thinks she’s going mad!
Cats can’t fly – even in Ballyyahoo!
Or can they?
You see Catleesha’s no ordinary cat.
Maggie is going to learn a lot more about Catleesha – the extraordinary cat of Ballyyahoo.

Brilliant read for adults aswel as the kids!! My mother spotted this little gem for my daughter as we’re a bit cat mad!
After my daughter read it and loved it, i myself had a go and was amazed at the style of writing that captured both my young daughters imagination but also my own! My mum is reading it as we speak!! Definitely suitable for ALL ages!
I recommended it to a friend for her two kids, my friend read it on kindle and then proceeded to go and buy the book aswell!
After hearing snippets from us, the kids are up to 90 with the excitement waiting for the book to come and they already want to go visit the cats.
It also brings to light & provides info links to the plight that abandoned cats must endure just to survive and that there is a simple solution to over-population.
I will certainly be contacting my local rescue centre to see if we can lend a hand. Maggie-Many-Cats also provides great education in compassion for animals in a language that adults and children alike can understand. I believe this book should be found in every school library and will be mentioning it at the next PTM!
P.S. Well done and may I suggest a “maggie” series!!
Hi Louise
Thanks for commenting. It’s so lovely to hear that ‘Maggie’ is bringing fun to three generations. She is one of my favourite characters and I had so much fun writing about her and of course, her many cats.
Thanks so much for recommending it so highly – the more people buy the book the more cats can be saved from the horrors having so many litters – not so mention all those kittens left to starve.
Best wishes and good luck with the PTM!
Grace
